The first two episodes of season two aired two days ago - yay! And things are off to an intriguing start already... I certainly can't wait for the next one! :D

Feel free to talk about the episodes in the comments. Beware of spoilers, obviously.

Jake and Sam look so surprised that Felix doesn't have an instant answer! Apart from all the elemental stuff, this was definitely my favourite scene. *g*

Oh man, I loved so many things about these two episodes.

- Andy practicing his speech
- the press conference
- Jake got emotional and caused an earthquake! (Felix realized what was up and went straight to Jake! ♥ My fic version had more kissing though ;p)
- awesome cool elementary powers (seriously, how cool are their powers?! SO COOL.)
- the boys sticking together
- Felix asked out Ellen even though he knew Andy liked her (although this Ellen doesn't like him back *sigh*) and it was awkward and the promo for next week seems to indicate it isn't going to be smooth sailing
- poor Andy though
- Sam and Mia's relationship continues to be awkward (at this point I really want Mia to finally say whatever it is she wants to say - does she want them to be together or not?!)
- Sam and Jake breaking into Andy's house - hahaha
- Ellen and Mia are in the early stages of an alliance... I'd love to see these two become the kind of friends they were in the other world
- Felix sacrificing his brother's comic to try and save Andy
- well, we all knew Alice was evil, right?
- uh-oh. Andy's missing again and it doesn't look good for the boys!
- so many slashy moments ♥

I honestly can't think of anything I disliked right away... but maybe that's because it's after midnight and I'm exhausted.

Let me quote the Lego movie: Everything is awesome!!!! What a greeeeeat way to start of the second season, I was loving everything and because my brain is still mushy and not able to form coherent thoughts have a nice list of things I REALLY REALLY LIKED:

- everything

- Andy's interaction with his dad (he was so... affectionate that was great!)

-VIV'S FASHION SENSE OH MY GOD SHE IS AWESOME THAT PINK SWEATER WAS EVERYTHING TO ME

- the whole party

- the way the whole party looked like everyone was wondering where the four boys were sneaking off too constantly, the man-crush line was great (and so... unexpected!)

- Ellen and Mia awkward bonding ("You have been in a bad mood since kindergarden!" AWWW LADIES PLS BE FRIENDS! AND THEN GO AND RESCUE YOUR DAMN BOYFRIENDS PLS)

- ELLEN AND FELIX I NEVER THOUGHT I WANTED THIS BUT FELIX WAS SO DAMN SHY AND ELLEN WAS SO PERFECT SORRY LET ME SCREAM I AM DYING

- I read somewhere that the people responsible for the show wanted to make sure that this season the episodes would not end on a cliffhanger so that parents will be able to put their kids to sleep... yeah good job, guys, WHAT WITH THE ACTUALLY REALLY TERRIFYING FISH DEMON WATER MONSTER WHATEVER... or are Australian kids used to creepy looking animals?

- speaking of creepy: "CREEPY BOY AND YOUR FOREST FRIENDS!" Omg, I love this universe!Phoebe, that was so perfect (even though I miss their bond with the old Phoebe <3 New!Phoebe and Alice though, Phoebe is so happy to have her sister back SHE EVEN WANTED TO OPEN UP A FAST FOOD ... BUS..THING WHAT'S THE WORD THAT WAS THE FRIGGING CUTEST THING EVER, PHOEBEEEEEEEE <333333).

- the bonding between Felix and Oscar KILLED ME. The way his eyes lit up when Oscar showed him the comic oh GAWD and the way he drew his big brother, EVERYTHING WAS JUST SO CUTE

- I also loved how easily the other boys accepted this universe!Oscar in their little group, it was beautiful

- the touching when Felix' spell destroyed the demon (I am shallow I am sorry, all my ships are jumbled now but Felix/Jake is forever gonna be my endgame ... or at least till next week)

- My fic version had more kissing though ;p)

- and last but not least:

I adore the writing so much. They have all these different conflicts that feel very natural (Andy wanting Ellen to like him and trying to , Felix asking Ellen out, (maybe because he finally understood how much she means to him? Surely not because he wanted to hurt Andy!), Mia not wanting to hurt Sam's feelings but doing it nonetheless and Ellen being insecure about her relationship with Felix) and I love that they get all their drama and dynamics from that - without making any of the boys less sympathetic than the others or forcing stuff.

I just hope that they will get Andy back very soon (next episode pls Q_Q), it feels weird not having him around. =(

Yes, ALL OF THE THINGS YOU SAID. Such a great start into the new season. I loved everything you mentioned.

It totally should have! (I was actually squealing when the boys practiced their powers at the shack because the sequel to that fic (that I've been writing for like four months and can't seem to finish) has them all meet up there and practice.)

They need to get Andy back ASAP. But I'm guessing first we'll have an episode where they awkwardly have to explain things to the police.

Yeah, I think you are right. Which is awesome in and on itself, but let's hope they won't drag this out too long. The reason I love these boys so much is that they work so well as a team, what with Andy's creativity stemming from knowledge (which is so different from Felix' rather... esoteric approach to things xD), with Sam's charming personality and of course Jake's levelheadedness. <333 They complete each other SO PLEASE LET THEM GET ANDY BACK <333333

(I still owe you a fanfiction btw. I finished it like months ago but I kind of forgot about the existence of this comm and this fandom in general?? So yeah I'll take another look at it and THEN YOU CAN HAVE IT - it was jossed heavily by the new season but oh well =DDDDD)

All four of them are a great combination - like you said, they complete each other - so we definitely need Andy back in the mix. I'm pretty sure they'll find a way to bring him back this week and then they'll actually bring him back next week.

(Dude, I'd pretty much forgotten about that, but now that you mention it... GIMME! :p)

I loved Ellen and Mia's friendship in the other universe. I really hope the two in this universe will become friends this season.
